Sign-Ups Open for NFL FLAG Winter League in Metro Detroit

NFL FLAG, the nation's largest youth flag football organization, is now accepting registrations for its winter league in Metro Detroit.

 

The upcoming season kicks off on November 2nd, with a registration deadline of October 12th.

 

Given the popularity of the program, spots are expected to fill quickly.

 

The winter session comprises six games, each preceded by a one-hour practice.

 

Participants will receive an official NFL FLAG reversible jersey and flag belt.

 

Games are conducted in a 5 vs. 5, non-contact, co-ed format, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all players.

 

Teams are limited to 8-10 players to maximize playing time.

 

This structure is ideal for first-time players learning football fundamentals and for those aiming to enhance their skills before transitioning to tackle football.

 

Notably, there are no try-outs; every registered child gets to play.

 

Winter 2025 locations include Beverly Hills, Brighton, Canton, Chesterfield, and Northville.

 

The league is open to children from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade.
