Ford Dealers Team Up on Food Drive for Forgotten Harvest

Southeast Michigan Ford dealerships unite to combat hunger in metro Detroit

Southeast Michigan Ford Dealers are joining forces with Forgotten Harvest to address food insecurity in metro Detroit.

From September 15 to 25, all participating Ford dealerships will serve as collection points for non-perishable food items.

The initiative aims to gather over 20,000 pounds of food within ten days.

This effort is part of Ford Motor Company's Global Caring Month, a worldwide campaign involving nearly 9,000 Ford dealers.

Community members are encouraged to contribute by dropping off non-expired, non-glass, boxed, or canned goods at their local Ford dealership.

As a token of appreciation, donors providing at least ten items will receive an exclusive Detroit Lions Jared Goff poster, while supplies last.

All collected donations will be distributed by Forgotten Harvest to individuals and families in need across metro Detroit.

According to recent reports, more than half a million people in the area are facing hunger, underscoring the critical need for community support.

To find the nearest participating Ford dealership, visit buyfordnow.com.

Join this collaborative effort to make a tangible difference in the fight against hunger in our community.
