Wellness advocate Melissa Coulier launches free community meetups to promote movement and connection |
In Metro Detroit, a new initiative is encouraging women to step away from daily routines and embrace the joy of recess once more.
Melissa Coulier, a renowned wellness advocate and fitness instructor, has founded The Recess Club, a free community designed to help women reconnect through movement and nature.
âWe never grow out of the need for a resetâwe just stop giving ourselves permission to take one,â Coulier emphasizes.
The club offers regular meetups in various natural settings, providing opportunities for physical activity and genuine connection without the constraints of formal events.
Recent gatherings have taken place at locations such as Marshbank Park in West Bloomfield and Stony Creek in Oakland Township.
These events are open to all women seeking to enhance their well-being and build new friendships.
Participation is free, though an RSVP is required to attend.
For more information or to join The Recess Club, interested individuals can visit Coulier's official website.
