Recess Club Invites Metro Detroit Women to Rediscover Play

Wellness advocate Melissa Coulier launches free community meetups to promote movement and connection

In Metro Detroit, a new initiative is encouraging women to step away from daily routines and embrace the joy of recess once more.

Melissa Coulier, a renowned wellness advocate and fitness instructor, has founded The Recess Club, a free community designed to help women reconnect through movement and nature.

“We never grow out of the need for a reset—we just stop giving ourselves permission to take one,” Coulier emphasizes.

The club offers regular meetups in various natural settings, providing opportunities for physical activity and genuine connection without the constraints of formal events.

Recent gatherings have taken place at locations such as Marshbank Park in West Bloomfield and Stony Creek in Oakland Township.

These events are open to all women seeking to enhance their well-being and build new friendships.

Participation is free, though an RSVP is required to attend.

For more information or to join The Recess Club, interested individuals can visit Coulier's official website.

Embrace the opportunity to reset, move, and connect with like-minded women in the Metro Detroit area.
